Our holiday wine bottle toppers are handmade in Armenia by a collective was started with seed funding from Save the Children to create jobs and help promote Armenian crafts. The project employs women who were previously without work in Armenia‚ which has a struggling economy. Their expert artisanship can be seen in the quality of these beautiful stockings. In small workshops around the globe, skilled artisans bring Melange Collection's whimsical designs to life. They have been working with the same artisan groups for many years and have developed long-term, committed partnerships that help promote sustainable income, environmental awareness and greater economic equality. They pay fair prices in the local context; offer fair credit terms and prompt payment; promote safe and healthy work places; and respect cultural diversity.
